Fired 'Grey's' Doc Gets New Gig

USA TODAY: LOS ANGELES (July 16) — Isaiah Washington, the embattled star fired from ABC's Grey's Anatomy last month, is back to work — at NBC.

Washington will guest-star on the network's high-profile remake of 1970s drama Bionic Woman this fall, and has signed a development deal to star in a potential action drama he pitched to the network for the 2008-09 TV season.

After four successful seasons on Sci Fi Channel, Battlestar Galactica from NBC Universal TV Studio will end with 22 new episodes. 

The fourth season is scheduled to kick off in November.

Expect the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica to be the last.

ABC Family is giving a little more love to Kyle XY, which became the most-watched original series on the network last year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter the science-fiction program, which was given a 13-episode pickup last August, has been picked up for 10 more episodes. That's 23 episodes

Eric Johnson has been cast in the lead for a new version of Flash Gordon on the SCI FI Channel.... It will premiere this August...

• The Board responded with, if schools were to remove all books containing reference to witches, they would have to ban "Macbeth" and "Cinderella." LOL.. Love it...

Microsoft's Zune Player More Than Just Music

• Details on Microsoft's upcoming Zune MP3 player, which is designed to go after the
  iPod.
• Apparently the plan is for Zune to use its wireless capabilities to
  be a social networking device, and not just a music and video player.
• Zune users will be able to play the role of a deejay, sending streaming music  content to up to four other devices.

• The device's wireless networking will allow people to send and receive photos, promotional copies of songs, albums and playlists.

• You can choose whether to stream to any nearby Zune user or to only to people on your "friends" list.

• Microsoft also has said that Zune will come preloaded with videos from the EMI label, but
  has not discussed the details of any music or video service it plans to offer.

• Other features will include a 30GB hard drive, a three-inch screen and an FM tuner.

• AND YES, you can expect a BIG promotional push in the coming weeks, as Microsoft plans to have Zune in stores by Christmas Time, So you better start kissing up to Santa NOW!!!
