It's Official: Cruise, Holmes Wed in Italian Castle

BRACCIANO, Italy (Reuters) - Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were married in a medieval castle near Rome on Saturday in an evening ceremony attended by some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Cruise's spokesman Arnold Robinson confirmed the couple had exchanged vows at the Odescalchi Castle in Lake Bracciano, Italy.

Also, ellegedly, Italian singer Andrea Bocelli serenaded the couple afterward...

Friday may be considered unlucky because:

• Christ is thought to have been crucified on a Friday, which was execution day among the Romans. Yet, Christians don't call it Bad Friday.

• Friday was also Hangman's Day in Britain.

• Some even think that Friday was the day God threw Adam and Eve out of the garden of Eden, which is unlikely since the concept of "Friday" hadn't been invented yet.

Is Friday the 13th a particularly unlucky day? It could be...only if you believe it is...

• Anyway,,, Georgia Mom, Laura Mallory, a mother of four, went to a hearing for the Gwinnett County Board of Education on Tuesday and stated that the books are an "evil" attempt to indoctrinate children in the Wicca religion. 

• Adding, that they should be removed from public schools.

• The Board responded with, if schools were to remove all books containing reference to witches, they would have to ban "Macbeth" and "Cinderella." LOL.. Love it...

• My friend Tommy was a Wicca,, I thought he was going to make the dog fly one day….

Apparently, German prosecutors have announced they plan to “monitor” Ms. Madonna’s Sunday concert in Duesseldorf b/c of the whole mock-crucifixion routine during "Live to Tell," which was amazing!!!

Nothing else is going on in the world that they could “monitor” instead…
