Sirius Satellite Radio introduced its live portable radio today: The Stiletto 100.

  capability for connection to Sirius Internet radio services.

• The radio will also come with Yahoo! music purchasing software and the ability to save
  music for later playback.

• The tiny receiver, measuring only 4.7" x 2.0" x1", stores up to 100 hours of programming by automatically recording music from listeners' favorite channels, scheduling recordings up to six hours in length, and allowing users to save up to 10 hours of individual songs from live broadcasts.

• Users will also be able to scan and store their own MP3/WMA files on the Stiletto 100, and it's compatible with most Windows-based music download and subscription services. Other features of the Stiletto 100 include:

• 30 channel presets
• Sirius Replay, which allows users to pause, rewind and replay 60 minutes of
  live radio;
• Game Alert, which prompts the listener when favorite games are
  being broadcast or when scores change;
• parental controls & channel lockout.

Microsoft's Zune Player More Than Just Music

• Details on Microsoft's upcoming Zune MP3 player, which is designed to go after the
  iPod.
• Apparently the plan is for Zune to use its wireless capabilities to
  be a social networking device, and not just a music and video player.
• Zune users will be able to play the role of a deejay, sending streaming music  content to up to four other devices.

• The device's wireless networking will allow people to send and receive photos, promotional copies of songs, albums and playlists.

• You can choose whether to stream to any nearby Zune user or to only to people on your "friends" list.

• Microsoft also has said that Zune will come preloaded with videos from the EMI label, but
  has not discussed the details of any music or video service it plans to offer.

• Other features will include a 30GB hard drive, a three-inch screen and an FM tuner.

• AND YES, you can expect a BIG promotional push in the coming weeks, as Microsoft plans to have Zune in stores by Christmas Time, So you better start kissing up to Santa NOW!!!
